The Journey: NGO AROHA
Story of NGO AROHA goes back to April 2002 to two dynamic young ladies : Vishakha & Sharmistha who were Corporate consultants and well known Market Re-searchers. They had a chance interaction with poor tribal women from Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra . This interaction totally changed their perspective to life and a realization dawned on them – that life is much more than corporate consultancy.
An Appeal
Team AROHA has been carrying out grass root activities with passion, compassion, honesty and total transparency. If you feel from your heart, you can also be a part of this movement. Do donate generously.
We do accept individual donations for all the three verticals:
- Sustainable livelihood – Skills training – empower a women to empowering the whole family. Rs. 5000/- per person & multiples.
- Environment conservation – Plant a tree Rs. 2500/-per tree and multiples.
- Protective clothing for newborn (tribal child) – Rs.1500/- and multiples.
NGO Aroha does not have a permanent office and training center. So any CSR funding and donations for developing this Infrastructure is most welcome and would be a great booster to these activities. NGO AROHA has valid registrations for 12A and 80G. Please look at contact section for details and various registrations.
